Questions? We Have The Answers

Reaching out for help for your drug or alcohol addiction is a courageous, yet oftentimes terrifying, first step to take. We understand the feelings you or your loved one might be experiencing at this time, which is why we work to ensure that you feel as comfortable as possible prior to your arrival. We encourage you to contact us with any and all questions that you have. In the meantime, take a peek at some of the most frequently asked questions we receive from individuals just like you.

  • What do I do if I think a loved one has a drug or alcohol addiction?

If you are concerned that your loved one is struggling with addiction, the most important thing you can do is be there to support them. Speak honestly (yet in a non-judgmental or accusatory tone) about your concerns for them and offer to help them get the treatment they deserve. You can call us and speak with us about treatment options so that you can provide some insight to your loved one regarding future care during your conversation.

  • Do I need to detox before I begin therapy?

The Healing Place offers both detox programs and residential services, however that does not mean that you will need to detox prior to beginning your residential treatment program. Our admissions team will work with you to determine if detox is a necessary option for you.

  • How long will I stay at The Healing Place?

The amount of time you spend with us will be based on several different factors unique to you. For example, you may require detox services, which can add time on to your overall stay. Our residential treatment program lasts, on average, for 30, 60, or 90 days at a time.

  • What should I bring with me?

You will want to bring a number of things that will help make your stay more comfortable. This includes clothes, any medications you are currently prescribed, toiletries, and so on. To learn more about what to bring with you, visit our admissions page.

  • Do you accept insurance?

We accept most major insurance, allowing for many of our clients to benefit from having their treatment fully or partially paid for. You can find out more about your insurance and what it covers by calling our admissions specialists at (877) 789 6707
